Model D

The Model D is a full range floor-standing dipole speaker which emits sound from both front and back. Unrestricted by the vibrations of conventional cabinets, it interacts with the room like a Steinway & Sons grand piano does, resulting in extremely open and life-like musicality, with no resonance and no coloration.

With more than 170 hours of precision machining behind each speaker, the Model D speaker is a rugged powerhouse of strength and performance. The baffle is milled from solid blocks of aluminium to offer complete stability to the drive units. The result is perfect audio reproduction and completely stabilised synchronicity between signal and sound.
Model S-15

Because the Model S-15 relegates bass duties to boundary woofers, it reproduces only high and midrange frequencies, and it does both with incredible volume capabilities and zero distortion. The distinctive design with black piano finish, black strings, and matte gold details resembles the famous Steinway & Sons pianos, while each loudspeaker is assembled and finished by hand in Denmark. The Model A loudspeaker comes as standard in matte black with high gloss black side panels and matte gold details, and can be customized with polished gold details as well as other lacquers and finishes, on request and special order.

This full range loudspeaker is designed for creating the holographic stereo reproduction of the Steinway & Sons Model D speakers through use of the dipole speaker concept – all in a smaller package. The Steinway & Sons Model B not only looks powerful with its impressive line-up of drivers, but together with the digital crossover and true quad-amplification of the 4 x 400-watt digital amplifier, Steinway & Sons Model A2, the resulting sound reproduction is nothing short of stunning.

LS Concert and Studio

The LS series is the number one choice for larger rooms and spaces with rows of elevated seats. The series features an innovative line source approach incorporating floor-to-ceiling stackable speakers and boundary woofers. This allows sound to propagate over long distances, thus ensuring tonal consistency by reducing echoes, especially in large rooms. Line source technology means that every seat in the listening space has the same volume level and offers the same sound experience, from the front to the rear of the room.

The in-room LS speakers blend the dipole technology first introduced in the flagship Model D with the innovative line source technology from the LS. At over 8 and 6.5 feet tall, the open baffle LS speakers are for very large rooms where a sound system must sound – and look – impressive. The series consists of two full range floor-standing dipole speakers, the LS Concert and LS Studio, which emit sound from both front and back.
Marine

The Steinway & Sons Marine Speaker brings the acclaimed Steinway & Sons sound performance to luxury outdoor applications, such as yachts, patios, and pool areas. Combined with the technologically outstanding Steinway & Sons amplifiers and sound processors, the Marine Speaker allows the highest level of sound quality from an outdoor loudspeaker.

The Marine Speaker is equipped with advanced driver technology to provide the best sound quality and cut through the outdoor noise. Two 8” woofers per speaker and two additional 10” passive woofers on the back allow deep and dynamic bass, even when free-standing outdoors. A dedicated 5” midrange driver ensures a clear and detailed midrange, important for singing voices and natural instruments. The Air Motion Transformer tweeter is a signature Steinway & Sons loudspeaker detail and reproduces exceptionally clear and detailed high frequencies, even at higher volume levels. In the Marine Speaker, a special mesh protects all drive-units.
In-wall and On-wall

In-wall speakers are often a compromise, mainly designed for the restrictions and practicalities of in-wall-mounting. Our range of in-wall speakers were also created to meet the highest demands for music and movie soundtracks, being discreet and invisible while still providing true Steinway & Sons sound quality.

With a large cabinet size combined with highly efficient drivers, the IW-15, IW-16, IW-26H and IW-26V in-wall speakers have an overall increased sensitivity, allowing for improved dynamic headroom and sound pressure level (SPL) while using less power.

Steinway Lyngdorf amplifiers and processors use their own digital audio technology, making them extraordinarily powerful, power efficient, cool running, straightforward to install, and reliable over time. Every unit is measured and thoroughly tested for 24 hours at the Steinway Lyngdorf facility.
